Well what can I say about me?
British wheel of yoga and Yoga alliance fully qualified Yoga Teacher. I am also a fully qualified children's yoga teacher.
Where it all began.............well, where do I start?
Yoga has brought me more peace, mindfulness, self-awareness and strength off the mat and into every day life. To understand that self care is important to each one of us and not to be seen as selfish.
As a teacher I understand the needs of each individual which is unique to any practice, adapting my classes accordingly.
Yoga is my passion, my go-to. The body and mind are very powerful and we must, more than ever, notice what goes on, on the inside rather than continuously being distracted by what is going on, on the outside. Being able to share this passion to the wider community is the best experience I can share with others.
I was working full-time then part-time in a demanding job for 22 years up to April 2024.
I decided now was the time to fulfil yoga full-time, grow my passion and share with others .
I took a leap of faith following my own mental health journey, coping with severe physical anxiety. I learnt to slow down, rest and stop overthinking. l am able to share my love of Yoga, to share that no-one is alone in what is now, a busy world we live in. We all have our own story. We are 'human' .
I founded Yogadoxford in September 2019 and I have never looked back. Growing year on year building a successful yoga community. I have been and continue to be mentored by the best.
Qualified with British Wheel Of Yoga and Accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. Being able to grow the message that ' Yoga is truly for everyone' taking away the many myths of what Yoga actually is.
There are no expectations, their is no shape or size. Yoga is unique to you, to find your own stillness and your own journey. We all start at the beginning. Hatha yoga is my style focusing on posture and alignment.
Remember you can do anything you choose to put your mind too

I wont make you calm

Trainers wont make you fit
Ultimately YOU have to take responsibility
